Ankara Museum of Anatolian Civilizations

The Museum of Anatolian Civilizations, located in Ankara near Ankara Castle, is a world-renowned archeology museum housed in restored Ottoman buildings (Mahmut Paşa Bedesteni and Kurşunlu Han). It houses a vast collection of artifacts spanning from the Paleolithic era to the present, focusing on Anatolian history, and was named European Museum of the Year in 1997.
